Description

The Seasons of Life cross stitch pattern features an original poem composed by Vicki Schofield. The sampler is suitable for framing or can easily be finished using Wichelt's Brass Bell Pull Hardware (2007-14). Seasons of Life will be a great addition to your seasons of the year collection of needlework projects!

The chartpack includes color photographs, chart, nine stitch diagrams, band-by-band instructions, and a materials list.

The design area is 62 stitches wide x 173 stitches high.

The model was stitched on 28 count Antique Tan Linen by Wichelt.

In addition to fabric, materials needed include Olde Willow Stitchery Hand Dyed Threads (016, 031, 032, 036, 056, 087), DMC floss (839, 842), Kreinik Metallic Very Fine (#4) Braid 002, Mill Hill Glass Beads 40557, and Brass Bell Pull Hardware 2007-14 from Wichelt.

Seasons of Life
Up you wake for your winter sleep,
As from under the snow spring flowers peep!

While colorful butterflies flit and fly,
The sun glows brightly in the summer sky.

The days grow shorter as the leaves turn to gold,
Oh, the splendor of autumn is a sight to behold!

Now back to restful sleep you must go,
