Whenever I need a serious time out, the beach is just 40 minutes away. I park my car, feed the coin machine to the top (always leave time for the next soul), smell the salt air, and step onto the white sand beyond the sea wall. When I get all the way to the water, and not a moment before, I take my shoes off, and step ankle deep into the surf ... and begin to count the waves. Small or large, as I count, I unwind and feel connected to the world around me. That's where my head was the day this pendant was created. A light blue wave - from my own original stamp collection - with silver flecks throughout, rises to meet the equally blue sky above. Accented with vintage silver-toned beads, the focal polymer clay bead is 1 1/4" high and 2 1/4" wide, and is suspended on a silver colored 18" hoop. Wear this hand-made, one-of-a-kind creation and feel a wave of serenity.
