The thick and thin sections of this design make sense! The thick part is at the ends and around your neck for warmth. The thin sections are where you'd tie it for less bulk.
This was crocheted in a rib stitch with a creamy winter white yarn. At each end are 2 clear buttons.
The yarn is a blend and can be machine washed. I'd lay flat to dry because of the buttons.
