Tibetan silver on cobalt & sapphire blue glass necklace
Description
The Tibetan silver feature bead is made by Tibetans living in Nepal. The cobalt and sapphire blue glass is from Indonesia and sometimes mistaken for lapis because of the particular blue. Thai hill tribe fine silver beads and old Indian silver rondelles add sparkle.
Necklace end beads are also Thai Hill Tribe fine silver plus small sterling beads leading to a silver plated chain ending in a sterling and old African trade bead charm which hangs at the nape of the neck.
I've hand formed the sterling hook which, with the chain form the expandable closure.
LENGTH: 17.5 to 20 inches depending on which link you put the hook in.
This necklace is part of my World Peace Collection ... beads from the world's cultures and religions coming together in harmony. You can read more about my World peace series on my blog: www.bit.ly/arXwxo
