Needle Felted Creations. I have discovered that I love to stab wool roving with those very sharp needles, thus I foresee much needle felting in my future!
Altered Art Glass Tile Pendants. I'm constantly on the lookout for interesting images to put into a pendant. The images may come from an old falling apart Mother Goose book, or a book on arts and crafts of the 1900s, or maybe the dictionary! I don't make copies of the images. I figure that there are enough images to use without having to copy them and make the same pendant over and over (not that I am adverse to that). Some of my pendants may be alike if I find a desirable wallpaper with a repeat pattern or if I have a couple copies of the same book.
I also make botanical pendants. I gather very small leaves from my yard and garden, press them, adhere them to handmade paper, and then place them behind a glass tile where they will be preserved and enjoyed.
My goal here is to make a reasonably priced piece of jewelry that is simple, fun, and unique. They are not works of art (I suppose I shouldn't say that), but they are made with care and the intent to be worn and enjoyed.
