I handmade this mold with a sea star or starfish design and a bubble or bumpy design background.
You will receive this one or one like it as I make these on a 'go' basis, but you can be assured the quality will always be the same. Due to the handmade nature there will be minor variations in the way a wave in the design may be positioned, but overall look will be the same.Mold measures 2.25 x 2.25inches or 55mm round, but you can stamp your clay with the mold and then cut it to any shape you wish. For the sample in the photo I handshaped clay, flattened it and pressed the clay into the mold, but you could use a square or round cutter if you wish or even hand form or shape it like I did. Stamping with this mold is easy. Just brush on a little bit of water and you're good to go as it is a natural mold release compound and doesn't react with the mold. Premo clays work best with this type of mold, but if you do use Fimo, then use cornstarch for release by dusting the Fimo with it, rather than the mold.Please allow 1 to 2 days for the creation of your piece.
