Welcome to "Ito de" - By Thread. Primarily, I see myself as a dyer as my interest is in color and how dyes work on different fibers. I like manifesting that through an exploration in shibori - Japanese textile resist.

Creating these pieces takes time, care and consideration. They are crafted by hand, manipulated by hand, then hand dyed in my studio.

Each item is unique, as I approach each piece individually. I regard each scarf or textile as my canvas, therefore, pricing also unique.

Shipping Information

When shipping pieces, I usually use USPS. I insure and track the pieces I mail. Once items have been shipped I will contact you so that you will know when you expect delivery. If you have any questions at all about mailing or have specific requests, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

It the item is lost in transit (heaven help us!), of course, you will receive a refund. If for any reason, an item is not satisfactory, arrives damaged, is not the correct size to suit...or a different aspect...please don't hesitate to contact me.
