When I was a child, I had a velvet choker with a sewn-on fabric butterfly. My sisters had butterflies made from wire and I was so jealous, but it was "safer" for me.
Maybe that memory played a role when making this flower pendant for a guild challenge.

Each of the seven petals is hand crocheted individually from red coated copper wire, not in a flat manner, but curved up to give the flower a 3D feeling.
The petals were then attached to each other. Two green leaves were made the same way and attached to the blossom. Inside the blossom are three stamina from dark gold wire.
The pendant is finished off with a chunky loop in the back which won't be seen when wearing it.

Measuring from leaf tip to leaf tip the height is 2.35 inch or 6 cm, the pendant is 2 inch or 5 cm wide.
The pictured rubber cord is not included.
