Wire knit bead scarf - The Bead Eater #1
Description
You can't be careful enough these days. Turn around once and a spool of wire eats up your bead stash!
Yeah, okay, it really wasn't that easy.
This unusual accessory took me hours and hours to make, first to put all the shimmering glass triangles onto the wire and then to knit and knit ... and knit some more.
I stopped when I ran out of beads which was at 3.9 ft or 1.20 m of length! The width is 0.8 inch or 2 cm.
This scarf was knitted with a crochet hook using gunmetal colored copper wire and Miyuki glass triangles in several colors, from berry to a black lined brown. It has such an earthy look to it.
As you can see in the pictures, there are different ways you can wear this scarf. Don't worry, either. It's amazingly non-scratchy, comfortable and also not too heavy at all. You might even be able to wear it as a funky belt.
I can make this scarf in other colors, lengths and widths if requested.
Materials
Gunmetal colored copper wire, Miyuki glass triangle beads
