Shipping Information

All items in my shop are custom order unless marked 'READY TO SHIP'. RTS items will go out within 24 hours, excluding Sunday and holidays. Everything else is sewn up for you when you purchase a listing.

At the moment, for custom orders, please allow completion times as follows:
** Please Note - holiday seasons may affect your turnaround time - please contact me if you have a deadline*

Clothing - 1-3 weeks (please, please order well in advance!)
Pettiskirts & Ruffle Tops - 3 - 6 weeks
burp cloths & washcloths - 7 days
blankets & baby sets - 7 - 10 days
monogrammed items - 7 - 10 days

*International Orders - My experience with customs is that it generally takes 10 - 14 business days to clear. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. If you order an item 4 weeks prior to your event date & the item takes 3 - 4 weeks to complete, you won't get it on time! Please convo me if you have questions or are unsure so that we can work something out to insure you receive your items when you need them.

I ship smaller items USPS priority or 1st class whenever possible and they are under 13 oz. Everything else will go Parcel Post or flat rate depending on the amount of items to be shipped. If you prefer a specific shipping option, please contact me, I'll be happy to accomodate you if possible! If you need something in a hurry, I can usually accomodate you and can use USPS Priority, UPS 2nd day Air or FedEx for shipping (there will be a higher shipping cost with this option, but I'll let you know what it will be before you purchase).

RUSH orders are available for an additional fee - please contact me for details

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

I take great pride in being meticulous about my designs and I strive to sew durable, quality garments.

All custom or monogrammed items are non-refundable, unless it was an error on my part.

All purchases on samples, sale and seasonal items are final! No refunds or exchanges will be allowed.

All refunds and/or exchanges will need to be approved prior to returning the item.

If a refund/exchange is approved, the following applies:
• All items must be unworn, unlaundered, and with original tags where applicable.
• If you are receiving a credit card refund, please allow up to two billing cycles for your credit to appear.
• A shipping service that provides tracking and insurance is highly recommended, as I cannot be held responsible for lost or late delivered packages.
• I cannot refund original shipping charges unless an error occurred on our part in shipping your order.
• All sale items and seasonal items are final sale, unless an error occurred on my part.

Any item in new condition can be returned for credit or exchange only.
Items must be returned within 14 days after delivery.
Customer is responsible for all shipping cost.
*Shipping will not be credited

Up until about 5 years ago, I had a classroom with 4 year olds, add to that my own 4 rough and rowdy boys AND ours being the house that ALL the kids liked to come and hang out and play in, and you have someone who has a great deal of experience interacting with active children! So, believe me when I say... I know how kids play!! I keep this in mind when constructing my clothing or other items. I know clothing often gets passed down to siblings, cousins or friends, so I want it to last...and so will you!

*** JOHN JOHNS, LONGALLS, JUMPERS, PILLOWCASE DRESSES, PANTS, ETC. ***

All of these are available in solid cottons and prints (prints change throughout the seasons) and linens. They are also available in chorduroy, wool, wool blends for cooler climates! All of my one pieces are all FULLY LINED with quality cottons or cotton sateens! I DO NOT use broadcloths to line ANYTHING! It's cheap and rips easily! Please note that I take great pride in these garments and if you order one of my outfits, you will be able to pass it down to siblings/cousins, etc., should you choose to do so! :D

*** PETTSIKIRTS AND RUFFLE TOPS ***

My pettiskirts and tops are made with the softest chiffon (that I have found) and they are all HANDSEWN BY ME! Pettiskirts come with TWO, THREE or FOUR LAYERS. Pettiskirts can be embroidered or monogrammed on the satin waistband, these are especially popular during football season!
Both are available in solid colors, two tones, rainbows, animal prints, and custom colors. Pettiskirts are also available in solid satins, satin prints (please check availablity) and satin animal prints (prints vary from season to season so check back or contact me if you don't see what you are looking for)

** SO HOW MUCH FLUFF DO YOU GET? **

TWO LAYERS = 100 YARDS of fluff
THREE LAYERS = 150 YARDS of fluff
FOUR LAYERS = 200 YARDS of fluff (your child may fall over, but, hey, she'll be gorgeous when she does!! lol)
*(baby pettis will typically have about 10 yards less per layer because they are so small)

These are available for sizes 0 and up. If you need an adult size, please contact me so I can figure a cost as I do not make adult pettis on regular basis. Turnaround can take UP TO 6 WEEKS depending on how many layers you get! RUSH ORDERS FOR PETTISKIRTS will be an additional $20 per pettiskirt, please contact me PRIOR to ordering to be sure I can meet your deadline!

*** APPLIQUES - HAND DYED ITEMS - REPURPOSED ITEMS ***

I really do try to keep costs down, like recycling packaging materials and things like that, so that I can pass that savings on to you! (however, if you are sending to someone else as a gift and you'd like it to look extra nice, just ask, I'll be happy to package it in something pretty!) That being said, when it comes to my clothing, I don't buy cheap fabrics or materials, I thoroughly inspect all materials that I repurpose and although I don't make the 'actual t-shirts' that I customize with names & appliques, I do make sure that I use quality garments. Name brands don't always mean they are better, I learned that the hard way when shirts were tearing in my machine, it's the weight of the cotton in the garment that is the most important, along with the way it's woven, and that's what I look for. I have several reliable, brands that have proven to uphold all of my embroideries and appliques.

The same goes for my hand dyed items. I only use fiber reactive dyes that bond at the molecular level. They are low impact dyes and do not contain heavy metals or other known toxic substances, they meet all European Union criteria for eco-friendly pigmentation and are the safest dyes for childrens' clothing

I'm a recycling, repurposing, 'REUSE IT, OR ELSE'... mama!! I love mixing vintage or reclaimed with new fabrics to create funky, classy & original clothing for kids! Because sometimes, you just don't want to be like everyone else :D

Incorporating reclaimed fabrics & garments allows me to reduce waste & help look out for our planet to secure the future of my children (and grandchildren) & yours! If you want to know more about how I choose fabrics and materials, please read my Policies page!!

*** BIBS - BURPS - BLANKETS - BABY ITEMS ***

I use a variety of soft, luxurious fabrics for baby. Chenille and minky are my favorites, and will be your's as well! I also use supreme cottons, flannels, etc. Everything is available for customization, monogramming or embroidery! All bibs, washcloths and blankets are HANDSEWN BY ME! Burp cloths can be made from embellished, 6 ply cloth diapers or HANDMADE with chenille, cotton, flannel, minky fabrics, etc

Please be aware that some items are constructed with small pieces of embellishments that can cause choking or other hazards. We recommend that children should be supervised by an adult while using these products. We cannot be held responsible for any injuries related to these products.
