DARAdesigns's Shop Policies
Please be sure to read the description of the item. I measure items as accurately as I can.
If you have any questions or need clarification about the item or the policies stated below, please email me before making a purchase.
Only PayPal payments are accepted. (There is currently no charge for registering or making a payment on PayPal).
I request that payment be made within 14 days of your purchase(s). If this is not possible, please contact me to make other arrangements for payment.
If you would like your order shipped to an address other than the one in your PayPal profile, please edit the address by entering a ‘gift' address on the PayPal checkout page.
Items are shipped via the US Postal Service within 48 hours of receipt of full payment.
If you require immediate shipping, please contact me and I will try my best to accommodate your request.
Your item will be carefully packed and protected by a box, and/or bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or other appropriate packing material.
For items up to fifty dollars insurance is optional but recommended and is paid for by the buyer. For items over fifty dollars, insurance is included and paid for by the seller.
Refunds, Returns and Exchanges
If you are not pleased with your purchase, please contact me within 7 days of receipt of your item to arrange for its return. Please return it within 14 days of receipt or as soon as possible. In the event of a return, the purchase price and the shipping and handling charge you have paid will be refunded upon my receipt of the item. Return shipping is paid for by the buyer.
For special orders that are not personalized (for example, with your name). When the item is finished, I will notify you via email. You can then review the listing with photos of the finished product to decide if you would like to make the purchase. I request that you inform me of your decision within 7 days of this notification email so I may determine if the item could be offered to the public.
For work that is personalized (for example, with your name), 20% of the purchase price is required up front and is not refundable. After the piece is finished, I will create a listing that will include pictures of your custom item. The item will be shipped within 48 hours of receipt of the outstanding balance.
