Dante-Inu, my beloved Akita, passed away on June 5th, 2008. She is greatly missed.

I had her cremated and her ashes now reside in a beautiful handmade urn by Urns here at Etsy.

Her indominantable Spirit lives on.

My shop is named for my beloved Akita, Dante-Inu, in honor of her indomitable spirit.

I feature hand dyed fabrics, hand dyed silk scarves, hand dyed and hand sewn Quilted wallhangings, hand dyed and hand sewn lap quilts, handmade beadwork, handmade chainmaille, and more.

I am somewhat active in Akita Rescue- promoting, sometimes running transports, even adopted my own new puppy, Caena from Heart of Dixie Akita Rescue, blogging about Rescue, donating items for Rescue Auctions, etc.

From time to time, I have 'specials' in my shop, in regards to Akita Rescue, where a certain percentage of proceeds are donated directly to Akita Rescue groups. Right now, the current special is 50% of each sale between now and Dec 31st is being donated to Rescue. so keep any eye out for future 'specials' as well!

Barter makes the world go round. I am willing to do Alchemy, within reason.
