This artisan made heart lamwpork bead is made with a vibrant red filigrana glass mixed with clear. This adds depth and dimension to the bead.
Made on mandrel, with a LOT of glass, and dropped and shaped into this flat but chunky heart. This was the first heart bead I made off mandrel. And it turned out so beautiful.
~* Heart Bead Measurements *~
~1 5/8 inches long (43.5 mm)
~1 3/16 inches across (30 mm)
~7/16 inches thick at the top near the hole
~1/4 inch thick at the bottom near the tail (6mm)
~Bail and bead length is 2.16 inches (54.96mm)
~* The first 4 pics show the bead with the bail, the rest of the pics show the bead without the bail. The bail IS included in this sale! :)
~* All lampwork is handmade by me, in my little corner-of-the-garage studio. Beads have been kiln annealed for strength and durability.
