This is an original, one of a kind, mixed media painting. It is painted with watercolor and a small amount of Prismacolor pencil to give the color some punch. I saw this beautiful orchid tree in Maui. We have them here in Southern California but they seem more beautiful in Maui. I kept the kaleidoscope pattern in the background and painted the orchid and some branches and leaves in the foreground. This technique gives this painting alot of depth. The image measures 17"x23". It is double matted in an off white archival mat that measures 24"x30". Not framed but since it comes with a mat, it will be easy to frame in a standard sized 24"x30" frame. The shipping also covers insurance.
