Welcome to Fire in Ice, where you can find handmade lampwork beads and jewelry. Thank you for shopping with me. My name is Carol Tannahill and I live and work in Central New York. I love working with glass, the interplay of colors, the texture and the way light reacts with it. I use high quality glass made in the United States and imported from Italy and China. All the glass I use is lead free soda-lime glass, and much of it is reactive glass with a high silver content or incorporated with fine silver by myself. I also occasionally use copper or gold leaf inside the beads for special effects.
