I call this scan "Laissez-Faire." Appropos, don't you think? This woman has a laid-back, relaxed attitude that is downright enviable! (Look at the second photo and you'll see that on the original postcard, even the busy seed-sowing lady in the stamp is laying down!ha!) The postmark on my original card is not legible, but I'm guess-timating this images dates to around 1908 or so. The color tinting done by hand a century ago is subtle; just enough to make the black and white photo come alive. I can almost feel the satiny sheen of the velvet chair! NOTE: unless you love that green stamp and specifically request the original version, I'll be sending you the NO GREEN STAMP version as seen in the first scan.
