This scan was a weekly freebie on my blog, but now butterflies are not free:) However, I hope you agree that my small fee is more than worth it for these winged lovelies. This scan retains all signs of it authentic antique status: soiling, nicks, rounded worn corners -- even fingerprints! IF you use this image as the cover of your gardening journal, no doubt you'll be adding some of your dirt and fingerprints:) My original card was not mailed but was glued inside someone's album long ago. Hence, they wrote the butterfly identifying information on front. Remember, at 300 dpi, you can enlarge this scan without losing quality. I printed it out to almost fill an 8.5 by 11 sheet of paper -- gloriously shabbily chic and perfect for romantic cottage decor! NOTE: I have saved this image as a PNG which means that even though you SEE a white edge around the scan, it will not print out with that white edge but will print out all perfectly 'cut out' with the rounded, worn corners.

TERMS OF USE: If you intend to use this image to resell, please follow these guidelines -- it is NOT to be resold digitally as is. It CAN be resold in digital format if you alter the image enough to make it your own work of art.
