FRENCH CALLIGRAPHY Unique Postcard Back Curved Message Scrapbooking graphic DIGITAL SCAN
I think Philipe had a strong artristic streak, don't you agree? Or, should I say 'stroke'!? The calligraphy in the address is stunning and the curved message is quite unique. "With my best friendship and friendly hello" Philipse writes. It was way back in 1907 when this card was sent to Madame Coquio at the tobacco shop in Dinan, on France's north coast. I hope you enjoy this antique piece of ephemera. Scanned at 100 percent full size (about 3.5 by 5.5 inches) at 300 dpi, the resolution of this image is high enough that you can easily enlarge it to use for a journal cover. I do test prints to fill an 8 x 11 sheet of paper and the clarity/quality is still there. So, feel free to think big when you get creative with this scan:) NOTE: you will receive the full view second scan. The first picture is just a gallery close up.
