This is a scan of an antique French postcard (postmarked 1905) that shows its age:it's stained, creased, written on all over -- and I just love it! It's what I call a natural collage: the stamp, the image, the French script written all around the border. At the bottom center under the title "Pierrot second invite" -- is penned the word "dejeuner." That is French for supper. I think this would be a fun card to make into a party or dinner invitation where the emphasis is on being casual, relaxing.
