This is a scan of an antique French postcard. Bonne Annee is French for Happy New Year and they celebrate gift-giving on Jan. 1 in a holiday called Etrennes. But this image could easily be used to make a customized Christmas card! Or a gift tag! Enlarge the image and use it for a journal cover. My original postcard has been postally stamped but the date is illegible; however, I can tell you it is circa 1904-1914 (what is often referred to as Victorian but is technically Edwadian -- all tres belle either way:) Note that while I have restored and cleaned up this image a lot in Photoshop, it is still retains its delightful antique look. It has signs of age but it has aged gracefully! You will receive the second scan pictured -- the complete postcard image. The first scan is a close-up for gallery view.
