This is a scan of a postcard mailed in France in 1903. It features a real photo of an actress taken by one of the most famous photographers in Paris at the turn of the century: Leopold Reutlinger. This scan has a wonderful shabby chic quality about it -- with the French script written all around the image of the woman. There is one line that ventures across her flesh: the final e composed with a flowing, swirling tail that drapes around the woman's neck. That's one of those things that will either bother you to distraction or you'll love it for the perfect imperfect collage effect. If it's the former, let me know and I'll clone the errant "e" off of her neck for you. I have cleaned the scan up some in a few places, but overall, it's original and retains its antique look.
