This is a scan of a French postcard mailed to a Mademoiselle Renee in Paris at the turn of the century (circa 1917 or so -- the postmark wasn't legible). These two little Edwardian girls are having a spot of tea -- and cake, too! My original card is a real photo card that has been color tinted by hand. The coloring of the girls' dresses and ribbons in their hair as well as the fancy tablecloth is all very well done for a soft, delicate, dainty look. This scan would be perfect to use as a party invitation!
