DIGITAL scan SEA Sprite Seashell girl with Wings
Here is No. 3 in the Seashell Sprite Series. My original postcard was mailed in 1905! I have a bit of a love/hate relationship going on with the stamps:) I have left the stamp on this one, but it can be easily cloned out. These scans are a smidgen larger than usual. Most antique French postcards are about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. I have cropped off the white border and enlarged these scans to 6 inches tall, making them just under 4 inches wide (easier to find a frame this size if you want to use these for wall art in your beach cottage:) Notice in each scan that the sarong is tinted differently and some have gold leaf accents in the shapes of dots or lines. On my little "faraway" girl here, her yellow-tinted sarong has squiggley highlights. I call her the faraway girl because I think she holds the shell as a reminder of a place she loves that's far, far away...
