This piece of sheet music will be 'parfaite' for your French-themed art projects: Mon Paris! The first few lines say, "On the square of Notre Dame, an old man said very tenderly: Paris, you call it Paname, but in my time, Paris, it was Paris!" Thanks to Parisian blogger Eric Tenin, I learned that Paname is "a slang name we give to Paris on some occasions that are difficult to explain ... when we think of the city as an exotic place! Apparently this nickname was first given to those Parisians who wore Panama hats at the beginning of the 20th century." Oh the things I learn through French ephemera! Note: you will receive the second picture, the complete scan. I have cleaned some specks and spots off this image, but overall it is original, authentically vintage from 1925 -- translation: it's wrinkled, creased and the paper is rich in textural elements!
600 DPI scan about 6.5 by almost 10 inches available for $9 extra
