My original postcard is written on, but not dated. However, the style and colors date this image to the early Art Deco era, after World War I into the early 1920s. My little French boy in his dark turquoise beret, fancy satchel and shiney patent leather shoes is ready for school! This would make a darling card for the graduate headed to college next fall:) There is plenty of room to write your own greeting/send best wishes OR just zoom in and focus on the boy. At 300 DPI, you have a lot of leeway to enlarge this image (8 x 10!!). How about turning it into a journal cover for college notes?
