This is an original collage I created from 5 different pieces of French ephemera combined into 18 layers including my favorite overlay from Shadow House Creations. I hope you like my bird lady surrounded in a wreathe of mistletoe, sending a kiss and warm wishes for the holidays. She looks so matronly and kind -- no wonder one bird has taken up nesting in her hat and another nestled in her arm:) In my imagination, this collage represents a postcard sent from a young French girl in England, first time away from home at the holidays, writing to her sister, asking about Maman (Mom) and news of home. You can create your own story with my customizable version. Add a stamp and address on the front, send your holiday wishes on the back....
