What's your vision for this new year?! My original postcard was written on but not dated, yet the style is tres Art Deco, very 1920s/1930s. This little girl is SO cute. She's irresistable! The French greeting is a generic holiday greeting when someone is celebrating their 'name day' -- the date on the Catholic calender that corresponds with the saint they were named after. This card was sent by a daughter to her mother in honor of St. Louise Feast day (March 15). St. Louise was a cofounder with St. Vincent de Paul in establishing a charity group -- that was back in the 1600s! Wouldn't it be incredible to set yourself a goal and over 500 years later, that goal still has positive results? Incroyable!! (PS This was my first free download of 2012 on my blog.
