This is a scan of an antique French postcard that is uber shabby chic! I have cut around the edges so your scan will print exactly as you see it, authentically worn, aged and creased. It was sent on Aug. 29 to Madame Rose Gaudy by her nephew Bernand and niece Aime. The year is not readable but I feel confident in saying it is from the turn of the century before 1914. I love the way the two French postage stamps and the postal cancellation create a natural collage and compliment the colors of the postcard. Wonderful as is or just enough extra space to add your own customized message. There are three versions. When you put in your order, please specify:
No. 1/2 Original with Bonne Fete greeting (generic holiday greeting; refers to the day a person celebrates the birth of the saint he or she was named after, according to the Catholic calender.)
No. 3 No greeting
