Funmi's was started when I realized the complete dryness of my family's skin. We used petroleum jelly, mineral oil, unbeknownst to us that these products were really by-products of GASOLINE!!! Since it just lies on top of the skin, there was no penetration. So the skin was still cracked and dry underneath once you bathed all it did was make an greasy mess at the bottom of your tub.

I decided it was about time for me to do something about it, I was going to make my own home made skin cream, I became hooked!!!

The quality of ingredients that are used in Funmi’s Handmade Naturals, LLC. body creams and soaps are made from natural plant based oils like grapeseed, sweet almond oil, jojoba, (one animal based oil from emus a bird native to Australia, only in our body cream), butters of mango, cocoa, kokum, and shea. A few herbs are used for coloring of our soaps, and an occasional titanium dioxide for hardness.
