Welcome to Gimme That Thing, an eclectic shop crammed full of colour and texture. I'm Chicita, a writer by day and in those few spare hours I'm also a jewellery designer and ceramicist based in Manchester where I live with my lovely daughter, 2 lazy cats, 4 gormless hens, a stroppy gerbil and a nutty horse. I like to use unusual colour combinations in my beaded jewellery creations. I incorporate my own handmade ceramic pieces into my rings, earrings and brooches, using my own splash and splatter glazing technique. I've also discovered the beauty of sea glass and create lovely wire wrapped rings, each one totally unique. I love to knit and have combined my jewellery and knitting skills to produce knitted jewellery wire pieces that are embellished with freshwater pearls in glorious colours.
