Description

The Infusion Collection of pendants or earrings are made with 3 - 8 (or even more) pieces of dichroic glass. Dichroic glass is made up of 40 or more layers of metals that are sprayed onto the glass to give it color and shine. They colors will move and shift as you move the pendant around and it catches the light in different ways. I cut and arrange the pieces on a piece of base glass.

These pendants are infused with 1,500 degrees of heat in the kiln in my studio. As the temperature rises, the glass becomes almost a liquid and the individual pieces of glass melt together. They are then slowly cooled for strength and the end result is 1 piece of glass with spectacular depth and color.
