Description

Ever since I learned about the hidden meaning assigned to flowers in ages past, the language of flowers has appealed to me. With these cards, you can send a message like the ladies and gentlemen of years gone by, and the flowers won't wilt!

Each one of these cards and their matching envelopes is hand drawn and lettered. I developed the original designs from sketches, then used a lightbox to trace them onto the cards with water-based markers.

The Rose ~ Love
This would be a great wedding or anniversary card, or (of course) the perfect package for a romantic message.

The Iris ~ Good News
Any number of things that you might want to announce could be considered "good news". Perhaps an engagement or birth announcement.

Sage ~ Strength
This would make a unique "get well" card, wishing strength to the recipient.

These would also look very nice framed as inexpesive artwork!
