Welcome to my Photography shop. I have been a photographer most of my life, but have really gotten serious in the past few years. I am a transplanted city person from Chicago who has had a love of the outdoors since I was young. Most of my wildlife photos are a result of my keeping my eyes open while walking in the woods, walking through my partially wooded pasture, riding my bike through the central Illinois countryside or just driving in my vehicle. It is a thrill to be walking along and suddenly finding that you have almost stepped on a fawn, or investigating what looks like a white ball of fur on the woods floor and finding it is a young owlet feeding while mamma watches from a nearby tree. I just want to share some of my experiences with the camera and hope that you can also feel some of the excitement as you realize that some of the photos are taken at mere feet or inches, and not at a long distance with a high power lens.
