G'day, My name is Michelle De Rooy and I love all aspects of papercrafts especially Explosion Boxes and handmade cards. Explosion Boxes are wonderful gift boxes that surprises the recipient when they lift the lid, the box drops open and the contents or centre of the box is exposed. Frequently I have butterflies or the like fluttering in the air movement. Hope you enjoy my boxes and thank you for visiting.
Shipping Information
My Explosion & Magic boxes are shipped in a sturdy craft box for protection. This protective box is reusable as a gift box.
International buyers are welcome.
AUSTRALIAN BUYERS - can choose to purchase in AUD dollars with direct bank deposit. Select items, proceed to checkout, select Options for Payment Method and Commit to Buy. I will forward bank details and revised AUD pricing. All items are generally shipped within 48 hours by standard delivery domestic or international post upon receipt of funds.
SHIPPING COSTS - As shipping costs vary so much across the continents. I endeavour to keep the shipping charges to a minimum, though for simplification there are a few generalities and thus are approximate. I will refund big discrepancies and overcharging by Paypal.
CREDIT CARDS: Are you aware that you don't have to have a Paypal account to use Paypal. You can use all the popular credit cards.
Refunds, Returns and Exchanges
Every attempt has been made to provide accurate descriptions and photographs of each item offered for sale. Even so, an item may not perfectly meet your expectations. If you are not delighted with your purchase, I will be happy to accommodate a return.
Please contact me within 5 days of receiving your purchase if a refund is in order. (You are responsible for the shipping costs of returns.)
1. General Return: I will exchange any non commissioned item with a similar priced item within my store, if you are not satisfied with your purchase. You, the buyer, will be responsible for any additional shipping charges both ways.
2. Damaged Item Returns: My products are handmade with all due care and as such little idiosyncrasies may occur. If there is any damage to the items during shipping/packaging we will work together to process a claim & replace your item(s) to the best of our ability.
3. Lost or delayed items. Please contact me as soon as you are concerned about the possibility of any item being delayed.

Extra Information
SALES TAX and any other relevant taxes
Any taxes required must be met by you at your end. Thankfully we do not have such taxes here in Australia and I would be lost trying to navigate my way through requirements!
PACKAGING
All Explosion Boxes and Magic Boxes are packed inside a more solid craft box. (Which are not necessarily colour co-ordinated to your purchases, can be reused as a gift box on its own!)
The cost of this secondary box is included in the price of the Explosion Box.
IMPORTANT: Your Explosion or Magic Box must be opened UPSIDE DOWN. i.e. Remove the big part of the protective box first (normally this would be the base) and then carefully lift your Explosion Box out of the "lid" which is now the base your Explosion Box is resting upon. I hope to have a video showing you what I mean...A picture is worth a thousand words! :)
CUSTOM DESIGNS
Custom designs are welcomed and actively encouraged! Contact me with a description of the custom piece you desire. I will respond as quickly as possible with a projected timeline and cost.
After reaching agreement on the design, a non refundable deposit of 50% of the cost will be required. Upon receipt of the deposit, I will create the item and then send you a photograph or scan for your final approval.
Your response, either approval or modification request, must be received within two (2) days. If the item is approved, final payment is due within 24 hours. Your custom piece will be shipped upon receipt of the final payment. Happy Shopping!
Depending on the extent of the modifications requested, additional time will be required. I will send a scan or photograph of the modified piece when the changes have been made. Your final approval must be received within two (2) days. Final payment is due within one (1) day of receiving your final approval.
The first modification request is included in the original cost. However, additional modifications will incur additional expense and will be discussed with you prior to the modifications being made.
Sales of custom designs are final!
