Goddess Chakra Candles - Natural Blend Aromatherapy Crystalline Palm Pillars...hand colored and scented with aromatherapy oils specifically for each chakra .

A Prayer/Meditation is printed on a label at the back of candle, to use in conjunction with the Goddess Chakra Meditation Kits..or on their own as a candle for reflection and healing on that particular chakra.

These crystalline pillars are made from all natural crystalline Palm Wax. The palm oil heated to a certain temperature and allowed to cool slowly is what produces the wonderful starburst effects. To ensure a long burn-time for your pillars, you must follow these specific instructions to avoid leaking wax or tunnelling (note these instructions are relevant for ALL pillar candles - because ALL pillar candles will leak or tunnel if not burned properly).
Remove all packaging before lighting the candle; place candle on an even surface on a candle plate or appropriate holder sized at least 1/2" larger than the diameter of the candle.
When lighting the candle for the first time, burn at least one hour per diameter of candle (e.g. 3" = 3 hours; 4" = 4 hours). They leave a thin outer shell that the flame glows through creating the popular starburst crystal design.
After the candle burns down, the wick will remain lit as the sides of the candle melt to feed it.
Each time you light the candle, always make sure the wick is pointed straight up to ensure even burning on all sides. Even while it is burning, you can straighten it by taking a metal object (a screw driver or long nail) and just straighten it. Check it every hour.
No need to trim the wick as we use self-trimming wicks, however, you may have to trim off a "mushroom" that may develop after a long burntime.
Each time you light the candle, make sure it burns long enough for the wax pool to be filled to the edge you created during the first burn. Otherwise, you will create a tunnel that will eventually extinguish your wick.
Keep the burning candle away from drafts. This causes uneven burning and eventually will cause your shell to leak.
Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains. (TIP: break this wax up in 1" pieces to melt in a tart burner or simmer vase for additional fragrancing)
And finally, if your candle does leak, simply blow it out, let it harden and relight. NOTE: If your candle leaks and spills over your candle plate, you can remove the wax one of two ways:
- either scrape it off after it hardens assuming the surface won't be damaged by the scraping.
- or use a blow dryer to melt the wax and wipe it up.
