The Hierophant - Rosary - Pamela Coleman Smith Collection - OOAK
Description
This is a five-decade rosary intended to commemorate the painting "The Hierophant" by Pamela Coleman Smith for the Arthur E. Waite tarot deck.
These are Czech glass beads in alternating AB black and red, with three faceted yellow Czech beads near the cross. Balck enameled findings. On pure copper wire.
The Hierophant is representative of the male energy which is the intermediary between man and the Divine. The Hierophant is a symbol of conformity, of tradition, of orthodox practices and of the sacred relationship between a mentor and a pupil.
Care of your Rosary:
This rosary is beaded on pure copper wire. Copper wire must be cared for like a precious metal, as it is both soft and tarnishes, as well as gently as this is a glass rosary.
Do not handle your rosary with soiled hands, as the oil and dirt in your hands will cause the copper to tarnish. Do not allow the rosary to become wet. If your rosary becomes wet, promptly dry with a soft towel. Do not tug on the beads, as soft copper may pull apart or break with force.
Love love heart...
