My love and passion is working with yarns and fibers, principally knitting and crocheting with them. I've done this since I was a child, gifting others with my creations; and I'm rather new to selling and am still getting adjusted to the idea. I'm learning that I can still craft the things I personally like and that those with similar tastes and likes will find me!

Most of the time I dislike using patterns and just work a piece according to what the particular yarn "tells" me it should become. My favorite attributes for items are simplicity and adaptability to multiple uses. Rather than using fancy stitches (which ARE fun and interesting), I most often use basic stitches and allow the yarn's beauty to do most the "talking". Additionally, I try to keep my prices reasonable by searching yarns in wholesale or close-outs to enable me to pass those savings on to you ... so that hopefully everyone can afford things that are pretty, useful and classic, and be an addition to your wardrobe for many years to come.

It's my goal to please the recipient with anything I make! It boosts my satisfaction and pleasure in making an item with the happy thought that another will equally enjoy it. :D

Please do note that my home is not pet free. If you're sensitive to this, I'd rather you not make a purchase than be disappointed.

Shipping Information

No matter where you live, I've tried to adjust my shipping methods and packaging to keep the costs as low as possible.

For shipping within the US, I will most often use Priority Mail. This is a cost-effective choice for shipping that is quick and carefully handled. The rate listed for each item is that without extra services. If you want any of those added (for instance, insurance which is usually an additional $1.75), contact me prior to completing your purchase so I can adjust that fee for you and include this when preparing the shipping label.

For smaller, inexpensive and light items shipped within the US, I've chosen First Class Mail. I will then use an envelope rather than a box to keep the cost down. If you wish to include insurance, or if you wish to use Priority mail instead, please let me know prior to completing your purchase so I can make those adjustments for you.

For International shipping, I will pack using an envelope rather than a box (except for the largest or heaviest of items) to keep the cost as reasonable as possible. Priority International Service is very expensive for low-weight items, so I will ship using International First Class Service. Please note that Insurance is only available by using Priority International Service. The cost of this, though, is quite prohibitive; so I've chosen to use First Class. If you do wish me to use Priority Service, please contact me for a quote so you can decide if that's what you want to do.

The quotes shown for each item are the base fees. Only two protective services are offered with First Class International; those being Certificate of Mailing (at an additional charge of $1.15) and Registered Mail (at an additional charge of $11.50). Both these charges remain the same no matter the Country of destination. Please let me know prior to completion of your purchase if you'd like either or both of these added to your International Shipping, and I will adjust the invoice accordingly. Unfortunately, insurance is not available except, as I explained above, with Priority Service.

Many Countries charge import/customs fees. This information is not available to me, and I'm told that you will know whether your Country charges these fees or not. If so, you will need to pay these prior to obtaining your package.

Please also note that I will ship to other locations worldwide. If your Country is not listed in the shipping section for an item, contact me so I can provide you with a quote.

For US as well as International shipping, I will ship the next business day following receipt of payment whenever possible. I will provide you with tracking info and/or confirmation that I have shipped, as soon as I've sent it.

If your address is different in PayPal than where you want me to ship, please do let me know.

I'd also be happy to ship your purchase as a gift. Just provide me the recipient's address, and I will be sure to not include any invoice copy or packing slip ... just care information for the item. :D

I'd be very happy to combine shipping. Just let me know what you wish to combine so I can give you a quote prior to your final decision and purchase.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

I want you to be happy with any purchase! If for some reason you are not happy ... or (heaven forbid!) it's been damaged in shipping somehow, please contact me immediately.

I will accept returns if you ship them back to me within 7 days of your receipt, providing you've contacted me to let me know of a problem ... and so that I'll know to watch for the package. I will refund your purchase price but cannot refund the shipping costs either those to you or back to me.

Please do note that my home is not pet free. If you're sensitive to this, I'd rather you not make a purchase than be disappointed.
