Novelty Flourish Paisley on Black is 100% Cotton, Medium weight, Thermal Waffle Knit Fabric. Price is for 1 Fat Quarter (18 x 28 inches wide).

It has Tan Flourishes and Paisleys and Shiny gold dots and the words Apple Bottoms printed on a Black background. It has 50% stretch across the grain.

Waffle Knit

The Waffle Knit is a type of Pique (Pee-kay) Knit: A double knit fabric characterized by a honeycomb or waffle pattern created by knitting and welting.
Basically, the thermal properties are created by the texture of the knit.

Patterns 1 and 2 are self lining and require knit fabric.
Patterns 3 and 5 will require knit fabric and an additional knit fabric for the lining.
Patterns 4 and the Airplane Bootie can be made from any type of fabric. They requires a separate lining fabric. (I prefer Flannel when using woven fabric)
