Description

These unique eyeglass frames are a silver metal in a loose six-sided shape with temples reminiscent of chain link. The bridge is a double design.

The lenses are glass trifocals with the sideways "D" segment in the inside bottom corner.

The metal frames are in good condition but wear and time have left them dull and slightly discolored. The only markings are "Allan USA" 5 1/4 on the temple, and 48-22 on the bridge.

My guess, from other items in the estate sale, is that these glasses are from the 50s to 60s. I scoured the internet but could not find anything specific to an Allan brand, or anything with this design.

• Temple 4" from eyepiece to curve; 5 1/4" from hinge and including curved ear area
