Nithya Swaminathan is an artist from Chennai, India and currently resides in Germany. She works in a realistic style, using Acrylics and Oil paints. Her work includes still lifes, landscapes and portraits in equal measure, and she loves painting anything and everything that interests her.

Nithya has no formal education in Art, and is largely a self taught artist. She loves exploring new media, new subjects and believes in constantly challenging herself. Her work is characterized by strong and bold usage of color, oftentimes a bit exaggerated from real life.
