Okay...so it really wasn't a real vacation. We have moved from NC to NY and it took us 40 days of staying in a hotel before we could actually move into our house in New Baltimore. That was an experience that, hopefully we won't ever have to repeat. Four cats, a dog, daughter and her other half and their two kids (3 & 5) and me all in one little hotel room! A bit stressful at times but we all survived and the kids learned how to swim. It was worth the wait! The house we are renting was built in 1820 and it still has the original flooring. Still unpacking and trying to fit all of the furniture and stuff that we have in the house. It will be a while before I get my room to the point where I can find everything. But, I am determined to organize this crafting space so that even Martha Stewart would be impressed! It is absolutely gorgeous here. I can almost be guaranteed that every morning or evening I will see a deer crossing my yard. This week will be the first week that I will actually be able to start working on new items for my studio. I have so many ideas that I don't know where to start...So, keep stopping by or drop me a note and let me know if there is something that you would like to see.
