I made this quilt for my Husband's Parent's 58th wedding anniversary and it turned out beautifully. I first discovered this design in one of my favorite magazines "Quilting and Embroidery" and just had to make it. Now, that I have made it, I just love it and would love to make one for your favorite happy couple. It is a beautiful commemorative that will last and can be passed down to future generations as a family heirloom. This quilt exudes romance and love, what a great way to show your love for the newly wedded couple and couples who are celebrating their anniversary.

The focal point of the quilt is the Appliqued Heart Center embellished with embroidery and complimentary colored swarovski rhinestones. The couple's Names and Date of Marriage is embroidered across the face of the heart.

The Center square is surrounded by 12 Smaller squares with beautiful embroidered swooping hearts and sentiments. Each of these smaller squares are surrounded by smaller strips and squares and the entire quilt is surrounded by a 4" - 5" border.

After the quilt is constructed and layered, It is then completely machine stitched in stippling and various swirling stitching lines to complete the quilting, and then the binding is attached.

After the quilt is completed, It is then washed to give it the vintage look that is so charming. Washing the quilt and drying it causes the cotton to shrink and makes all the little puckers that create the vintage feel.

I also put a label on the back with your sentiments to the couple.

This quilt is quite time consuming and is made to order, and the fabrics are not purchased until you order it, so please allow 6-8 weeks to complete.

The quilt pictured is a representation of your quilt and will have subtle differences, such as fabric choice and threads used in the embroideries.
