Beginnings
Jenn Brockman is the owner and founder of Painted Laydies Mineral Makeup (Painted Laydies LLC.) A former (but still lisenced) cosmetologist, Jenn began making her own mineral makeup products to address the needs of her own sensitive skin and the high cost of national brands. Soon friends and family were requesting her mineral makeup for personal use and the chance to resell. From the first color collection to the newest shades, every formula is Jenn's own and has been developed over time to address customer requests.

In the Workshop
Jenn learned what she could from her mentor about the ingredients used to make mineral makeup, but it was her artistic training and use of education from years in the salon that led to the development of mineral makeup formulas that have soft, even , useable textures. Each shade is hand blended in small batches and each retains the exquisite character of the natural ingredients used to create them.

Philosophy
Her inspirations come from the world around her, with a focus on fun and creativity. Each formula is designed with comfort and wearability, but the company vision is based in a simpler time when all of the world was up for exploration.
