Welcome to Patrick's House Photography, and thank you for visiting! I am a photographer, writer, dog lover, and advocate for social justice in higher education. Most of my pieces are captured in Chicago and Boston - my two homes. I hope you enjoy my work!Patrick's House Photography is an expression of compassion, struggle, and hope captured through found art in urban America. I strive to capture the invisible-what we walk through and look beyond in our everyday lives. Our forgotten found art is empowering; it belongs to all of us. Most of the graffiti and mural art in my photographs are fleeting messages of survival and resilience- a revisioning of the American Dream- quickly painted over and replaced. However temporary on our streets, the art gains a permanent voice in photography.
