Description

This pouch was sewn by me, using felted wool and cashmere from old sweaters, glass and clay beads, plastic buttons (some of them vintage), and various yarns. The "tangerine heart" is made from a lovely cable-knit cashmere and is very soft. there is crochet trim on the flap and the very generous strap is also crocheted, with a vintage Italian mohair edging.

This pouch is 7 inches wide, about 9.25 inches tall, with a 30+ inch strap (very comfortable cross-body carry for me, see image 4). All hand-sewn. It's big enough for a standard small paperback, CD or a DVD, and would make a fun alternative to a mass-produced gift-bag for holiday giving.
