Secondhand purse, upcycled with paint, paper collage, and sharpies; the 1910s image of suffrage leader Helen Hamilton Gardener is from the US National Archives uploads to Flickr Commons.
The interior of this purse is extremely nice--one large compartment with two side pockets (one zips, one doesn't). The clasp, hinges, and other hardware are all in fine working order. The strap is quite short, best for elbow or shoulder carry for most users.
This purse has been sprayed with krylon for weather resistance, but like any unique art object, care should be taken in extreme circumstances.
