Description

This is a thrifted handbag, upcycled with gesso, acrylic paints, paper collage, modpodge, sharpies, and krylon. The image is from the State Archives and Library of Florida on Flickr Commons; the young woman's name is unknown, but I like to think this is a self-portrait, and she certainly seems happy to be featured with that cool camera.

Purse is smallish--8 inches wide, 6 inches high, 3 inches wide at base. It stands alone, has short straps (hand, wrist, or elbow-crook carry only), and is in excellent condition inside and out. There's a snap closure. Inside, one large compartment, with two side pockets (one zips).

iPod in the fourth photo is for size comparison only--you don't want it anyway, believe me. This bag is fine for most weather, but as with any unique art piece, use caution in extreme conditions.
