Description

This thrifted black purse was restyled with paint, ink, rubberstamps, sharpies, paper collage, modpodge, and krylon. It is 10 inches wide at the base, 7 inches high, about 2.5 inches deep. Interior is clean black cloth in good condition, one side pocket with zip. Strap is short, best for shoulder or elbow-crook carry (you may find otherwise). Zipper closure. All hardware is in excellent condition.

Image of American sculptor Vinnie Ream (1847-1914) is from the Library of Congress. The quote, "She had a mind of many colors" is by Danish critic Georg Brandes, describing Ream.

This purse has been sprayed with Krylon for weather resistance, but like all one-of-a-kind art pieces, care should be taken in extreme conditions.
