A stunning French pochoir print from Paul Louis de Giafferri's 1925 magnificent folio work ~ 'History of Feminine Costume from 1037 - 1870'.
Hand-painted on card, these prints is simply scrumptious. Featured are 12 beautiful hats and 9 decorative ornaments on 'Chapeaux' (Hats), from the time of the French Revolution, 1792-1799.
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 10.75" x 14.625" (27x37 cm), and shows gentle tanning with no tears, folds, creases, or marks.
The colors are bright and lush and the key is at the page bottom in French text. A wonderful paper to frame. ... or will you use this in your art?
