Two beautiful lithographs gleaned from a damaged a 1983 reference book on children's book illustrations.

From Beatrix Potter, a lithograph of her iconic mischievous Peter Rabbit, first appearing as a letter to her former governess' ill 5-year-old son, Noel. The work is not captioned.

On the reverse side is a scrumptious small work by John Hassall, illustrator, and it, too, is without caption.

I've shown both how they can look matted (darling!). Perfect to frame and gift to the new baby or the young miss ... beautiful works to use in your art.

The 2-sided page measures 8.5" x 10.625" (22x27 cm) and both prints are enormously frame-worthy. The heavy paper has no tears, folds, creases, or marks.

You are purchasing an original 1983 paper and it does not have watermarks. The matting seen in these photographs is not included with this listing.
